The early metric is not total signups. It is whether a developer completes a successful request, returns, and sends enough production volume to justify the support load. 

The Best Tools Will Have Two Audiences 

AI Overviews did not erase the need for online tools. They weakened a business model built around owning the click before delivering a small result.
